The Bears–Packers rivalry is a National Football League (NFL) rivalry between the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers.
Both clubs also have won a joint 22 NFL championships (13 for Green Bay and 9 for Chicago), including five Super Bowl championships (four to four Green Bay plus one for Chicago) and have 65 members at the Pro Football Hall of Fame (Chicago with 3-4 and Green Bay together with 3-1 ).
The competition began in 1921 and is still the league’s most playedwith 198 regular season and post-season games. [inch ] The rivalry isn’t the league’s longest continuous rivalry, since the 1982 strike-shortened NFL season failed to incorporate a Bears–Packers match. This title would go to the rivalry between the Packers and the Detroit Lions, who have played at the very least twice a year since 1932. Even the Packers and Bears have played at precisely the same seminar or branch since the NFL went into a seminar format in 1933; they played in the NFL’s Western Convention from 1933 to 1970, also have been in the NFC North as 1970 (known as the NFC Central by 1970–2001). Therefore, they usually play one another twice every season.
